Dark Series

This is a series of 52-card playing decks inspired by Victorian London and the Jack the Ripper story. The design keeps the structure of a conventional French deck, using standard red and black suits to ensure full usability for card games and cardistry, while transforming it into a cohesive narrative artwork.

The 12 figure cards are reimagined as key characters connected to the story, while aces and jokers expand its narrative world within a strong Victorian aesthetic. The Dark Series variation presents a more mysterious interpretation of the theme. The box features the figure of an unknown Jack, symbolising the shadowy, unidentified nature of the killer, who operated under the cover of night and was never truly revealed. The card backs are black, reinforcing the sense of darkness and anonymity that defines this version of the series.
